About the Role: 

SEO & ASO team owns all search engine optimization & app store optimization activities, including content strategy, link building, and keyword strategy. The goal is to maximize visibility and accelerate growth through targeted optimization strategies for both search engines and app stores. You will take charge of the complete Strategy, Planning, and Optimization. You will be working in a fast-paced environment which will require you to take initiatives with complete ownership, manage multiple projects, and drive execution with stakeholders.


What you will do: 

  • Create and manage an SEO and ASO roadmap to capture a significant share of voice on Google Search and app stores for high-intent and high-volume searches, driving relevant traffic and user acquisition to the platform.
  • Performing periodic technical audits on the WINZO website/pages, making short- and long-term technical SEO strategy recommendations in terms of (page load, Mobile friendly UI/UX), page speed, CWV (core web vitals) etc.
  • Work closely with the cross-functional team - Product team, Tech team, Design team etc., - to achieve the overall SEO & ASO KPIs. 
  • Monitor the latest SEO and ASO trends, best practices, and techniques to ensure that optimization strategies are best-in-class. 
  • Create innovative content experiences that would attract and delight target audiences and set us apart from the competition. This would include coming up with mobile-first content ideas that users can read, view, watch, interact with, and share. 
  • Working closely with tech teams to identify and implement standard processes and automation to bring repeatability, efficiency, and massive scale in execution.


What you should have: 

We’re looking for people with a hustler mindset, who are curious, eager to learn new things, with a passion for innovation, and work to be a little better every single day. This is not solely based on whether a candidate has previously done similar work or not. We’re looking for someone dynamic with below qualities in generous quantities to perform well in this role –

  • 5 to 8 years of relevant SEO & ASO experience mandatory 
  • Must be well-versed in Google Algorithm updates & app store algorithms
  • Strong communication skills and ability to clearly and effectively articulate thoughts and points Solid expertise in Google Analytics or similar web analytics platform. 
  • Advanced computer skills and proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel) or Google Docs/Sheets 
  • Solid grasp of HTML/CSS and understanding of JavaScript.
